Standing Desk Ergonomics – Too much sitting is not healthy for you. But many of us sit at work, then sit on the drive home, and then sit in front of the TV or computer for more hours at night. One solution is to build a stand-up desk so that you can stand while working. Or, you can also customize your treadmill to a desk so you can walk slowly while you work.


Measure the correct height for the keyboard. Stand up. Keep your hand and forearm straight with your elbows at a 90 to 120 degree angle in front of you. You can then add another small metal shelf to the top of the board or otherwise raise the display. Clear the area around the location of your new desktop.
